Why this is a top pick and a backpacking essential

I do not go anywhere without my Grayl Geopress. I have used it in the most extreme areas as well as the most civilised. Its not just useful in countries where you are 'unsure' about the water in the tap, but also on countryside hikes where a stream can become a valuable source of hydration. Slightly bulky but does a job so hard to knock it too much for this! The geo press holds 15.9 ounces (450ml). If the larger bottle seems a bit much the Ultra Press is the smaller option with a capacity to 12.5 ounces (350ml).
